S.E.R.V.E. – South East Resource Veterans’ Effort is a 501C3 organization providing Emergency Financial Assistance to Veterans and their families in Galveston County.  Our partnership with United Way Galveston County Mainland provides us the opportunity to help Veterans with their Unmet Needs.

We are an all volunteer organization with 8 individuals comprised of an executive director and 7 Veteran board of directors whose goal is to make sure Veterans in the area have a voice.

We also provide financial assistance to those in surrounding counties as well that qualify. Brazoria County and South East Harris County are two areas we can assist if the Veteran qualifies.

Finally, we are a connector of resources and over the past 10 years have connected with over 80 local and national organizations to help provide resources to Veterans who need answers and assistance.  Our goal is to connect Veterans personally to someone who will help them find the resources necessary to solve their request.

As a Veteran orgainzation, we of course have a mission statement:

“The Mission of SERVE is to bring gulf coast area veterans groups and organizations together to combine resources and information to improve the lives of our military personnel and their families.”

We began in August of 2015 with 6 organizations dedicated to working together to provide solutions and resources to those veterans in need.

Today, we have grown to over 80 groups and organizations whose sole purpose is to improve the lives of those who served our country and their families.
